The best used-book discounts online this fall come from rewards credits, subscriber coupons, and seller sales rather than one universal code. Budget readers gain most by joining ThriftBooks ReadingRewards, signing up for Biblio coupons, and comparing shipping cutoffs before checkout.
ReadingRewards is ThriftBooks' points program for used books. It turns points from each purchase into free-book credits. For marketplace variety, Biblio connects buyers with independent sellers and issues its own coupons and sale discounts.

How does ReadingRewards lower each order?
ThriftBooks says ReadingRewards members earn 8-14 points per $1 on used books, depending on tier. Every 500 points converts into a free-book credit worth $6 for Reader members and up to $8 for Literati and Elite members. See ReadingRewards point values and credit tiers for the current breakdown.
Higher tiers stretch the same spending further. A regular buyer reaches the 500-point credit faster than an occasional buyer. Check your tier before placing a fall reading order.
Can a bulk order earn extra points?
ThriftBooks lists a 200-point bonus with orders of five or more books in its holiday gift-guide promotion. The offer rewards bulk buying rather than single-title orders. Five paperbacks for classes or gifts can trigger it in one checkout.
Bonus points add to base points instead of replacing them. That shortens the path to the next 500-point credit. Group planned purchases together when possible.
Where do Biblio coupons and sales appear?
Biblio runs an official coupons and newsletter program for its marketplace of over 100 million used and rare books. Biblio says subscribers receive exclusive coupons plus an instant bonus coupon on signup. Join through Biblio's coupons and newsletter page before you search for titles.
Biblio also hosts bookseller-specific discount sales on select used, rare, and out-of-print titles. Biblio notes examples up to 70% off from independent sellers for a limited time. Browse current bookseller sales on Biblio when your list includes older or hard-to-find books.
- Sign up for the Biblio newsletter first for the bonus coupon
- Compare the seller sale price against other sellers of the same title
- Check sale end dates because seller discounts run for a limited time
